    Take your time when deciding on the dream you would like to pursue. It is crucial to ensure you pick the right path. It is crucial that you’re passionate about your goal and believe that it can be successful.     Rami Beracha’s suggestions for students studying at Herzliya’s Interdisciplinary Center is based upon his own personal experiences. Rami Beracha chose to study law when he was a young person. Although he was unsure if it was the best career path, he continued his studies in law, obtaining an MBA in New York and worked as an intern at a law company abroad. He discovered that his passion was more for business rather than law after his stint working in the Wall Street law office. He quit his job in order in order to go to France to complete an MBA.

    After graduating in 1996 Beracha started working for the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. It is Israel’s largest venture capital investment fund. Pitango is focused on early-stage companies that are developing the core areas of high-tech it has received more than 200 investment from its investors and exited more than 85 companies to date. Rami was named managing Partner in 2000. In the 18 years that followed, Rami managed dozens deals which led to the sale of large corporations in the Fortune 500 like Broadcom (Marvel), Cisco, Cisco, and Apple.

After helping in the development of Israel into a world-class high-tech hub, Beracha is ready to take his business to a wider market. Beracha’s outlook on business is evident in the new fund. It says that “We know technology but we only invest in people who are driven by a mission.” They are looking for passionate companies to help blockchain get its right spot at the forefront of innovative new concepts that will help propel the world forward.

    Beracha plans to launch the Middle East venture capital fund in addition to the European fund. After the Abraham Accords that Israel and the United Arab Emirates recently signed, he believes it is the right opportunity to make a bet on the Arab market. The wealthy and modern Dubai is a great starting point. The fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will unite Israeli as well as European Investors to support UAE high tech companies that specialize in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and robotics. The United Arab Emirates’ business prospects are unrivaled. The tax rates are low and the laws that favor business will make it an attractive destination for many companies in the coming decades.

    Although Rami Beracha seems to be successful in all he has been pursuing however, it wasn’t always so easy. Beracha was just a teenager when he joined the army. He was an combat soldier in the Paratrooper’s Brigade during the Lebanon War. Rami joined a rescue party that was sent to assist wounded soldiers in a wild minefield in 1983, just following the end of war. Rami fell into a concealed mine, and he lost both his foot and his hand.

    His time in hospital rehabilitation was among the most challenging of his entire existence. He was not able to move, and he fell into desperation and depression. The hopes of furthering his army career were lost and he didn’t know who he was anymore. Rami’s illness helped him discover the passion and drive to live his life and make new dreams. Rami made a decision to make his life better and more fulfilling than before his injuries. Rami took on the challenge of trying various extreme sports. Today he enjoys kitesurfing and snowboarding, and has been on the mountain of Mount Kilimanjaro. He is constantly striving to get better at his sport and is feeling like his former healthy self is driving him along.

    He is a volunteer for numerous organisations and also makes donations. He is passionate about helping young men, who were wounded in combat. Rami was part of a group of soldiers who suffered injuries while serving in the military in Nepal in 2016. In the year 2018, he was promoted to major in the Israeli army’s paratrooper and the fire brigades. He achieved the dreams of his youth despite the challenges. His life and story can be a source of inspiration for others, never to give up regardless of the situation. Rami did not let his injuries keep him down. He continued learning and trying new things until finally he was stronger than ever before.
