One of the things that I feel the need to be reminded of very often is the fact that God has put me in the ministry. "You mean you forgot that your husband is a preacher?" No, that is not what I have trouble remembering. The thing that slips my mind most often is that God put me on this earth to serve Him, and that my whole purpose for living is to be what He wants me to be.

One of the things that I feel the need to be reminded of very often is the fact that God has put me in the ministry. "You mean you forgot that your husband is a preacher?" No, that is not what I have trouble remembering. The thing that slips my mind most often is that God put me on this earth to serve Him, and that my whole purpose for living is to be what He wants me to be.

Now I don't exactly forget that this fact is true, but I often forget to let it occupy my mind and guide my thoughts, my words, and my actions. Everything that I am, every role that I fill, every person in my life, every job that I have to do is part of the ministry that God has called me to fulfill.
